AIM Graduate School Scholarships for 2015

The Australian Institute of Management - Qld & NT Graduate School is committed to continuous learning, regardless of background or financial circumstances.

Every year, a limited number of distance scholarships are awarded to those applicants who display the motivation and ability to further develop their career, and assist their organisation, management community and broader community.

2015 Scholarships

The AIM Graduate School will offer a number of distance scholarships for the next academic year. The purpose of these scholarships is to provide a highly practical learning experience for practising managers, with an emphasis on the application of thought leadership in management within an organisational context.

Scholarships will be awarded for the Graduate Certificate Professional Management to applicants seeking a well-respected qualification in general management either in its own right, or as a pathway to further study, including direct credit to an MBA.

Scholarships will be offered to applicants who wish to pursue their studies by distance delivery, and will cover tuition fees only.

Who can apply?

Scholarships are available to practising managers in public, private and not-for-profit organisations. Candidates can be in management positions at any level within their organisations.

Applicants must be of Australian nationality, must be proficient in English and must indicate their desire to pursue study in distance mode.

Selection of Applicants

Selection of the successful applicants will be based on information provided in the application form and a personal interview. The information sought will include:

  • Work experience and depth of managerial experience
  • Intention to contribute to the management profession
  • Specific benefits to the applicant in completing a postgraduate course/award
  • Ability of the applicant to contribute to the management and broader community
  • Educational background

Applicants who have not completed formal tertiary academic studies must meet the AIM Graduate School admission criteria:

  • Five years relevant management experience
  • VET Diploma plus three years relevant management experience

Applications for 2015 scholarships open Monday 1 September 2014 and close Friday 24 October 2014.
